| This was a short scam (3 days), but with numerous emails. I tried to continue with the FBI, but they wouldn't respond to my emails after the first. Notice that after I make the payment via Western Union but don't give him the details, because of what the Western Union clerk told me, how he panics. Especially when I threaten to verify all this information from my local FBI Office. I received 18 emails in the last day from this clown. My emails are in blue, his/hers are in black, my comments in red. Happy reading! |

I found the Western Union and I made the payment. They told me there, that I shouldn't send money to Nigeria, that this was probably a scam. I would like to see your ID and a scanned copy of the check from Bank of America before I give you any of the details. Thomas |

I told that I made the payment, but what they told me at the Western Union Office has me freaked out. You don’t have to stay at work waiting for me. We can finish this tomorrow. I called our local FBI Office (Akron, Ohio) and they informed me that they do not involve themselves with transactions like this and that you were most likely a 419 Scammer. I forwarded all your emails to their office, as well as that fake ID and silly looking fake check. After work today, I will retrieve my money from Western Union. You are pathetic. Thomas |
That was that last I heard from him (obviously). They like to stay away from the FBI. The string of email at the end of this bait from Bensen were coming about 20 minutes apart. He was trying to convince me to give him the Western Union info before I called the FBI to verify everything, so he was in a panic. He also thought that by sending me a “scan” of the check, it would convince me, not realizing that I already left work for the day, and was going to call the FBI when I got home.
