| This bait was relatively short but it did have its moments. It started as a fake bank website scam, but I went to the website and found a bunch of problems with it, so I emailed the REAL Capital One Bank to inform them of the problems (misspellings, links didn’t work, errors, etc.). He was mad that I emailed the real bank instead of his Yahoo Account and stopped emailing me. These emails take place after I sent him message weeks later. My emails are in blue, his/hers are in black, my comments in red. Happy reading! |

I went to your website and have some questions. On the website, they don’t list a branch website in Philadelphia at all, but my real question is why you have a fax number for Seattle listed? If I wanted to fax something to you in Philly, why is it going to Seattle, where you also don’t have any offices? That’s awful strange…Also, I don’t know if you are aware, but a number of the links on your website don’t work or link back to where they aren’t supposed to. You might want to fire your web design service, they seem like morons to me.

The whole Seattle connection is because they are using K7.net for their fax service (popular among scammers and scambaiters alike). I just wanted to bring it to his attention that I knew… After a couple weeks, I sent the email below and got them back on the hook. |

| This scambait isn’t necessarily dead yet – it’s only been a couple days since I last heard from him. Although this was a short bait, the fact that he actually said that the Capital One Bank does not take checks made it to the Truly Stupid Hall-Of-Fame Page on my website. It’s so funny to see inferior people try to explain something that is not in their prewritten script – that’s why it is important while scambaiting to get them out of their comfort zone – ask questions, demand answers, suggest new ideas, etc. – you’ll be surprised at the idiotic thing these morons will say. |
