I feel so used! This was a new “modality”, at least to me, where the scammer doesn’t even want any money. He just wants a scan of a Bank of America Cashier’s Check in the amount of $50.00. I started off giving him a hard time about having a fax line in Seattle (k7), an office in Las Vegas, a phone number in Ontario, and a mailing address to Reno, Nevada – his IP Address resolves to Ontario. But after I started this scambait, I started to get really interested in why he wanted just the check. Obviously it was to use against other victims, but I was curious to see how he would proceed so I played along. My emails are in blue, his/hers are in black, my comments in red. Happy reading! |

Thomas |

What is the address and phone number to your Las Vegas Office? I think that is what I asked you – not some phone number from Ontario.
Thomas |

Hello? I am still waiting for instructions. Let me know.
Thomas |
Why haven’t I heard back from you yet? I need to know what to do next. Please contact me urgently.
Thomas |
To get this mook a scanned copy of a Bank of America Cashier’s Check, I found one on Yahoo Images.
Notice that this check was found on the http://419.bittenus.com/index.htm website. Also notice that the signature on the check is from Selma Ward (actress). Here is my doctored check. I sent this to him minus the MACSBaitStore.com writing on it. I didn’t want this idiot using this check against someone else so I shrunk it down to about 2 inches wide by 1 inch tall. If he tries to enlarge it, it will become pixilated and blurry. He never contacted back after my last email so he was either happy with the check or knew he was being fucked with. |
